XXL 2011 Freshman Class

I think no one is more disappointed with XXL's pick this year than I am..I can say that I only have three out of the eleven rappers in my iTunes.  #1 for me is CyHi the Prince..i'm def. happy for the rapper for getting on this cover and personal opinion Kendrick Lamar, who is my #2 should've been on since last year...but i'm not going to complain...and then the #3 is Diggy Simmons. The other 8 rappers could've and should've been replaced with other people like Carlos St. John, Starrs & Murph, WordSpit (who needs to get signed-smh) & my dude Kale Dreamz(people are sleeping on him)...if Donnis & Blu and Exile were on their past covers I would probably be going off right about now BUT i'll slow it down a bit...who is this base God character like really? Big Krit, etc -____- this was my face when I saw this...I'll let you all have your own opinions on this...

everyone knows that i want boys when i decide to have kids...and i want 6 LOL...i was browsing around and came across the cutest kid albums ever..so i couldn't help but post up what id want my kids to look and how i would dress them :)

I had to dedicate some time to praise this legendary man, Nicholas Sparks.  Most of you guys now him for his books which have turned into movies such as The Notebook, Dear John, etc.  I know this man for  his dramatic creativity..I am a huge fan of love stories but I usually just keep my head in old british literature.  Like everyone knows I am a huge Jane Austen fan and the only writer that I feel can come close to her is this man right here.  For a man to dedicate his life on perfecting such a hard craft like love amazes me.  I would love to meet this man one day just to know what goes on through his mind...I've read all his books and have watched all his movies and even though some may think them corny, I have looked deeper into them and find them to be touching to the soul.  His books along with my parents marriage always reminds me that love is really out there, in many forms, and that you shouldn't push it to the side...whenever you feel iffy about love, read one of his books or watch one of his movies: I always recommend, "A Walk to Remember" both the book and movie..it is still my favorite out of all.

Caught My Attention... "Vescell" Comic Book

So Enrique sent me his new comic book last night.  I'm a huge fan of comic books, especially old ones.  I haven't been into them lately because there aren't any new ones that I enjoy BUT when i read Vescell i fell in love and hope that Enrique makes a whole bunch of them so i can have them all :) I'll definitely going to be like the biggest fan of this.  I also plan on interviewing him once I get back to the city just to see whats been going through his head and how he came up with this idea.  I recommend everyone check this comic out, its mind blowing.

So I was on one of my favorite magazine sites that discusses arts and politics (Guernica Mag) and came across freelance photojournalist, Amnon Gutman, who spent a year with paramedics during their night shifts in Tel Aviv, Israel and took a series of photographs.
