"PRICE OF BEING UNLOYAL" poem

What’s the point of ever saying “follow the code of the street” when the niggas saying it are the same who post up on the corner, twisting up the phrase and start snitching on the richer nigga, the “big guy”, same nigga making six times as much as the next guy…

What’s loyalty when niggas are snitching on each other over a bitch?  The same bitch that will fuck your brother, give you both a surprise like an STD and bounce with your cash.  How does that sound when she leaves you owing niggas, leaving you in a ditch…that’s the price of being unloyal.

Why aren’t these guys loyal to the street?  Where are the old gangstas, like my old Latin Kings, who only killed for their family, stood strong, had ambition to provide for their family…

When will the code of the streets come back?  When will these girls become women and stop fighting each other over men who care nothing about them?  When will these boys become men, taking responsibility for their own crimes instead of snitching to the cops to get a better deal; getting years off their sentence…

If you got the balls to do the crime, you better be man enough to do the time because snitches become other nigga’s bitches…don’t drop the soap, don’t turn your back…because it all comes with the price of being unloyal.
