What goes through your mind when all she does is brush you off because it’ll hurt you both so much. There’s no more long night walks, early morning talks, or afternoon gentle touches. I wonder, what does a man go through when he feels like he can no longer prove his love to her because its no longer enough. What goes through his mind when in his mind there was no other perfect love but it went left instead of right, how could it have gone so wrong.
You want to get things back to the way it all used to be, perfect falls, toasty winters in each other’s arms, rainy springs walking in the rain & hot summers that still didn’t keep you off of each other.
Each tear that falls from his eyes symbolize the times you’ve hurt him, every time that you showed him you no longer loved him, the tears that tell you that you’ve made the biggest mistake of your life because you’re not with him.
I wonder, what does a man go through when it hurts him too much to even be friends, something that you promised each other you’d be until the end-
How does she look at you? Does she feel ashamed because she did you wrong? No! She forgot about who loved her the most, she passes you by like you didn’t mean a thing to her from the start?
You submitted to all of her demands, made love to her all through the night but was that enough? What if you never told her you loved her, would you still blame her for leaving you? Would you start thinking about how its not only one person’s fault, but two?
She was playing you while you were out thinking you were playing her, but does that make it right? It hurts when you gave it up a long time ago, but she didn’t know that.
I wonder, what does a man go through when he’s all by himself in the dark, having to eat by himself instead of getting a table for two & everything you touch has her image on it, her scent on it because they were all the places you burned your soul into hers, places you caressed her mind on, touched her on, enjoyed her on. What runs through your mind when you’ve lost what you thought would be yours forever, when you’ve lost the only thing you lived for, breathed for; I wonder, what does a man go through?
But thats only make believe, there’s no man out there that has that much emotion to go through this.
